Develop and Enforce Your Sales Policies and Procedures

It is important to define what your company accepts and does not accept. This brings forth a clear understanding to both ends of the transaction: you and your customer. This is a basic standard operating procedure that represents your conditions as a business.

This will help you to eliminate redundant steps, increases proactive control over processes and routine tasks.

A formal business proposal will compose of the following things: a seller’s capabilities and/or products, an explanation of the key issues, a description of the customer’s needs and how they will be met, the total cost of the work to be done, a schedule of the deliverables, and proof of past performance.

This is a well practiced, carefully planned, short and to the point description of your business. Your pitch should be so clear that anyone should be able to understand what your business offers.

Having a good customer base is always important because they help to support you and your business. Nurturing, sustaining, and growing you customer relationships are also an important marketing strategy.
